Didn´t I write something about giving our bikes some time to relax until our departure? Well, I hadn´t read about Tibidabo in our tourist-guide when I wrote down those words. Normal people wouldn´t waste any crazy thoughts about a 532-meter-mountain (approximatly 1500 feet) rather close to Bareclona with an amusement park and some old church on it (Tibidabo). For me it immedeatly meant that we would torture us and our bikes at least one more time. A last "challenge" was just what I needed, and when I read that all the height-meters would be fought on just seven kilometers of asphalt, well, sounds great, doesn´t it? Heat, 532 meters and 7 kilometers, just what the doctor ordered... And in addition to that the world-famous Parq Guell was also right along the route (also possible by underground or bus of course but that would be too easy...). At first Frank hesitated a bit and thought about going to the beach instead, but in the end you just can´t fight the urge to cycle just one more hill.......(of course normal people could..)
